How to access our services



Our services are available to all community members, meaning anyone in the community can access them. 

The service aims to enhance peoples nutritional intake, their whole well being and to maintain their independence in their own homes and in the community.

Our service is funded to provide a range of high quality food services to the frail, aged, younger and older people persons with moderate, severe or profound disabilities and the carers of these people. Our services are subsidised under the following bodies:

  • CHSP (Aged 65+, 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders)
  • HCP (Meal Preparation and Delivery)

We work with Home Care Package providers to offer meals under Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 Packages.

How Packages work

Once you have been allocated a package you will have a consultation session with your package provider to decide what will be included in your package, this is your choice, providers are there to assist. You may also be self-managing your funds.

Yes, I need meals delivered

In both cases, you will need to state in your Home Care plan that you wish to have meal preparation and meal delivery paid for out of your plan so that we can deliver meals to you, then you just need to contact your local Meals on Wheels Service.


Once your plan has been established we will meet with you to discuss a Service Agreement and meal options for you and the meal delivery can then begin.

What would you have to pay?

  • Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 Packages cover the cost of meal preparation and delivery.
  • The cost price of the meal is covered by you, as packages do not pay for this.
